Masterplan for Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens

The Stevens-Coolidge House and Gardens, formerly known as Ashdale Farm, sit on 91 acres in North Andover, Massachusetts. This historic home, designed by the firm of O’Brien Associates, is undergoing a master plan to incorporate both natural and cultural resources. This plan will help preserve the 91-acre site, as well as provide an exceptional educational resource for visitors.

The project includes a new entrance, expanded gardens and additional programming. The plan will feature an annual spring Spectacular, with nine garden rooms to showcase the seasons and highlight the importance of the Stevens and Coolidge families to local history. The Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens will be open to the public daily, including Tuesdays.

Wetland Garden

Architects Mikyoung Kim Design and Maryann Thompson Architects designed the project, and a new entrance on Chickering Road will be installed.

Public Programs Assistant: This volunteer role works on public programs for Stevens-Coolidge House adn gardens. This position requires a passion for education and the community, as well as an ability to work in a team environment. The ideal candidate has experience with public program management, and is enthusiastic and collaborative. In this position, you will work with other field staff, committees, and volunteers to execute a variety of programs for the public. You will also oversee various events such as garden parties, concerts, and nature playgroups.
